Dunstan Eezy Mix

  • Dunstan Eezymix is a fully extruded cereal and protein-based complete horse feed in the form of a highly digestible and palatable extruded nugget.

As a medium energy feed utilising premium quality ingredients, Dunstan Eezymix is the ideal feed for competition horses over all codes.

Dunstan Eezymix contains two oilseeds (Linseed and Full Fat Soya), and a blend of Vegetable Oils (Soya Oil and Rice Bran Oil) to provide the ideal complement of the essential fatty acids Omega 6, 3 and 9, to aid in skin condition and coat sheen.

The energy and protein (amino acids) content of Dunstan Eezymix, makes it ideal to feed in conjunction with Dunstan Betabeet/Dunstan Sugarbeet. Quality fibre is provided through the Dunstan Betabeet/Sugarbeet to assist in meeting the horse’s daily fibre requirements as well as enhance digestive health.

Dunstan Eezymix provides a balance of energy sources from the cereal grains, Rice, Barley, Maize and digestible oil sources.

Dunstan Eezymix is fully extruded to aid digestion and minimize digestive upset from hindgut fermentation from undigested cereal grains.

Dunstan Eezymix contains Rice, a well digested gluten-free cereal grain.

Oils are included in Dunstan Eezymix for energy and to enhance coat and skin condition.

Gamma Oryzanol found within Rice Bran Oil is a valuable component to assist with muscle repair and bodybuilding.

The Amino acids within the oilseeds contained in Dunstan Eezymix provide for tissue repair and overall condition enhancement.

A comprehensive formula of Minerals and Vitamins, Organic Amino Acid Mineral Complexes, plus Organic Selenium Yeast and Vitamins with Natural Vitamin E, ensure maximum feed and nutrient utilisation, plus support to the natural immune system.

Organic Selenium as Selenium Yeast is included within Dunstan Eezymix to provide a highly available and safe form of Selenium.

The recommended feeding rates are based on a 500kg horse and are guidelines only.

    Spelling 2kg
    Light Work 2kg – 3kg
    Moderate Work 3kg – 4kg
    Heavy Work 4kg - 5kg
    • The recommended feeding rates for Dunstan Eezymix are based on a 500kg horse and are guidelines only. Daily feed amounts will vary depending on pasture availability and body condition. Horses are very much individuals with different metabolic efficiencies, some require a little more, others a little less, for the same level of activity.

    • Ensure adequate fibre intakes by providing 1 % - 1 .5% per day of the horse's body weight as chaff, hay, Dunstan Betabeet/Sugarbeet or pasture (on a Dry Matter basis).

    • It is advisable to split the daily hard-feed into at least two feeds, preferably 3-4, but feed no more than 2.0 kg of Dunstan Eezymix per meal.

    • Always introduce a new feed gradually over a period of 7 – 10 days, working up to the desired feed intake taking into consideration body condition and work level.
    General Notes
Always ensure the Horse has access to clean drinking water. High Copper levels in Dunstan Eezymix make it unsuitable for feeding to sheep.
