Maxim Low-GI more than just a taste-lift

Maxim Low-GI
  • Increased level of fibre from quality fibre sources including the addition of meadow chaff and increase in sugarbeet. Higher fibre rations are great for equine digestive health and will assist in contributing towards the horses overall daily fibre requirement. Quality fibre also provides ‘cool calories’ to the diet, great for horses that don’t tolerate calories coming from grain.
  • A further reduction in starch level results in a feed suitable for some of the most starch sensitive horses. Ideal for horses that may have behavioural changes in response to high starch diets.
  • Increased level of Natural Vitamin E. Many sporthorses now have reduced pasture intake resulting in a decrease in daily Vitamin E, that is abundant in pasture. Vitamin E is a key nutrient in the diets of performance horses and combined with bio-available Organic Selenium, also in Dunstan Maxim Low-GI, assist to maintain normal muscle function and together act as antioxidants to protect body tissues from oxidative stress.
  • Improved palatability, tempting some of the fussiest eaters!
