Dunstan Fibre Balancer is a feed formulated for growing weanlings and yearlings with signs of Developmental Orthopaedic Disease type conditions or where excessive growth rates through high pasture quality and availability are anticipated.
Dunstan Fibre Balancer contains the same high specification of protein, amino acids and supplements as Fibre Plus, but with elevated trace mineral and vitamin levels to compensate for a reduced daily feed intake. Fibre Balancer provides for a reduced intake of protein and energy whilst maintaining the daily requirements for minerals, essential for bone and cartilage integrity and development during the growing period.
The higher fibre content of Fibre Balancer may aid in slowing down the consumption of starchy cereals and provide for a more controlled release of blood glucose and insulin. This effect may have a positive influence over bone formation and freedom from joint abnormalities.
To many stud breeders a high fibre intake is synonymous of a natural digestive process and an option of feeding additional fibre in pellet form is an alternative to the more conventional cereal mixes.
Dunstan Fibre Balancer contains both quality meadow hay and lucerne to complement each other as fibre providers.
Dunstan Fibre Balancer Pellets, offer the combination of proven nutrient values to provide for good growth rates and sound bone and joint development, with the added benefit of quality meadow hay and lucerne for a natural digestive process.
The elevated trace mineral levels in Fibre Balancer ensures that the daily requirements for essential minerals are met.
